Hi, this is a question/suggestion for future reference: Why is it not possible to configure a custom MacOs X installation ? With 9 I was always able to install just the parts of the operating system that I needed. The first reason would be troubleshooting a non working system, the second regaining hard disk space. The computer I'm using most of the time is only for music production (alas, there is no professional music software for X available yet...), so there is no use in networking, a web/mail server, firewall and so on. Is there an explanation for this ? |
