Awesome reviews on Amazon.com about the new iMac

I thought that these reviews at Amazon.com of the iMac were pretty cool. Many of these people have switched from Windows to Mac:

What do you think?

Wow, you're right. I read all of them, and all except 2 gave it at least a 4 or 5 star rating (out of 5). That's pretty incredible for a computer, and a Mac.

One of the 1-star reviews was from a totally uninformed person who never even bought it, and the other one was from one who got a couple dead pixels on the screen (I can't say I blame him for being mad).

By the way, the pricing still seems to be at $1799 rather than $1899, so you might want to snap them up!

At the local MicroCenter they're still using the old pricing, too. The woman said that the prices would probably adjust to the new ones when they got their next shipment. That was Wednesday when I was there and they seemed to have a good amount in stock (on the floor, I don't know about back room).

Man, after reading those reviews I have another sudden surge of pride at being a Mac user. Damn, I LOVE my LCD iMac. It's the best computer I've EVER owned, even counting standard G4 towers at similar speeds.... there's just this element of personality on the iMac that I really like...

Have you guys ever just suddenly found SOMETHING that made you realize how much you prefer Macs? Like, a certain thing happened that just makes you think, "Wow, I just LOVE OS X" (for me, it was the stability and column view) or "Wow, Apple really is awesome"? (the day the Time magazine article about the iMac came out) I've had like twelve little "Wow" moments in the last week... and I've been a Mac user for 9 years... but for some reason with OS X and the LCD iMac and iPhoto and iTunes, at this point in time, I'm just more and more in awe of my computer's abilities.

It's a great time to be a Mac user!
