apple should host a RTCW server. :)

this would be cool.... and good publicity for them..

they could also offer dl's for other maps.

I wish I were in charge at apple... I would do some cool things.

Just a thought... I would love to see an apple server for RTCW.

make one / host one yourself... I fail to see how this would be any big PR coup for Apple and you know we would need a whole new forum just for people to complain about lost connections/how slow it is/what Apple is or is not doing correctly or incorrectly...ugh. I'd rather see them make insanely great apps and hardware and use their manpower for that.

Actually I have yet to get RTCW to run on my brand spankin' new tower. I am at work now and have not been able to try their latest suggestion which was to remove the app from the applications folder (huh?), "...and then it should run fine." When I get home, I'll give it a shot but I really doubt it will work as i even tried running it from a CD-RW, both of my other HDs as well as from my applications folder (which by the way is where applications are supposed to go...) and no joy.

Anyone else with this problem?

your probably right.... better idea.

they could make a driver for my scanner so I dont need to boot in 9 ever again, or use slow classic.

Hey, regarding RTCW, I keep having sound problems..... hope you dont have that issue.

Regarding hosting a wolf server myself, Ive tried.... but I have NO documentation on how..

Ive read the game manual, followed the steps, and when I click "accept", the game crashes.

so much for running a server... id LOVE to run one.... I have cable.... so I guess thats a fast enuf connection.... I would let 8 or 10 people on... max.

**if you have any info to share about how to set up a wolf server on a mac, let me know... im all ears.

thanks.

I got some server setup info from planetwolf... but nothing for mac.... windows and linux? I beleive.

makes me wonder if a mac can even run it using Macos?
