Question osx on a bondi blue imac?

I have a orig iMac running 8.6 w/96mg. My ? is how much longer should I wait until getting a new machine? Do I get Jaguar now? Does it work well on a G3 system?

This machine is working fine except for freezing 2-3 times a day. Could it be IE/OE that is causing the problems? My son likes to play Starcraft online and it freezes up then too. We finally gat DSL but the game still locks-up. Have tried limiting the extensions but to no avail.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Brian
