Office Suite 2006 - the word processing area

I have been doing my Christmas Cards and would used left side of card for my yearly update.
Then I was using some blank cards, so printed update on left side panel of card.
I created the right hand panel with name of receiver; Christmas verse; small paragraph about new year and then finished with our names. Looks great!
However, when I tried to print the right side panel of the card, it only prints vertically about one inch and will not print the remainder vertical part of the right panel.
The left panel had already been printed - could this be the problem? Should I have printed the right panel first and then the left OR WHAT? PLEASE HELP!
