How's this so much different from when Apple dropped Computer from their name? There are many computer manufacturers doing this lately.

Good idea...
subbing "computer" for "junk" would be a more descriptive title for what they produce....

Well not "everything" really. Dell does want to continue to make a profit and stayin business.
