 Sheet Music for ITMS
Apple: I think it would be great if you sold sheet music on the ITMS, most notably for piano, guitar, and percussion. Customers should be able to look at a few bars of each song and hear a sample of it being played online before they download. Each piece of sheet music should be categorized for beginner, intermediate, advanced and master players. Customers should be able to view and print their sheet music from within iTunes. Additionally, customers should be able design and put together their own book of sheet music with iTunes and submit it through the Internet to be professionally printed, binded and mailed to them at an additional charge, just like you can do in iPhoto with your photographs. That would rock!

That sounds like an awesome idea! There is sheet music out there available for purchase, so Apple could partner with one of those companies to distribute it.

I agree with powermac. It should be something that is perhaps tied into Garageband. Have it be based on the iTMS, but an extension. Perhaps interoperability between iTunes and Garageband. Also, this type of 'store' could be easier to setup in other countries, and therefore should be seperate somehow. Great idea! I would use it, if it is available everywhere..

But let's not forget that GarageBand is NOT available to Windows users, but iTunes IS, so it would have to be incorporated into iTunes only for Windows users. Still, Windows users would love to just download sheet music, print it out and play it on their instrument.
