If the US legal system didn't give Microsoft what it deserved for being a terrible company, it looks like the European Union is about to.
In addition to fining Microsoft a rumored 500 million euros, the EU looks to set limits on the overall integration of different services within Microsoft's Windows Operating System, and force Microsoft to publish details on how some of Windows' internal services work now.

The EU's investigation has found Microsoft to be an "abusive monopolist" which has skewed the market for audiovisual software to the detriment of its rivals.

Too bad Microsoft is so rich that a 2 billion dollar fine wouldn't even hurt the company much.
