Graphics Support in OS X

How about some proper graphics support in OS X for those with older ATI cards?

ATI have said they won't deliver drivers for OS X -- which is great of them -- so how about if Apple do?

There's a big PowerMac, iMac and PowerBook userbase out there who will have no openGL / 2D acceleration if they go with OS X 10.1
