 Can't confirm e-mail address for site support system I can't get the site support system to accept my e-mail confirmation. For autoconfirmation it had sent me a link like this: http://support.macosx.com/index.php?x=&mod_id=7&auto_confirm=string_omitted= where, of course, "string omitted" represents the long string of characters that were actually part of the link. When I clicked on the link it told me ERROR: Confirmation failed. Please check your confirmation code. So I saved the message as plain text, then cut and pasted the link from the text file. It still didn't work. Next I tried entering my e-mail address and confirmation code manually. Again it told me ERROR: Confirmation failed. Please check your confirmation code.  |
