| i think this does say something about how successful a server OS that doesn't run on cheap commodity hardware is likely to be...

| endian... Good point. We have been running Linux based servers since 1996 and find that they are awesome. Can't fantom the thought of sticking a macintosh in a rack. With UNIX foundation of OS X, it is now usable as a server machine (Mac), but again, am I going to stick a Cube on a server rack? Think not. Its TOOO PERTY! ![]() Admin |

| Sticking a Mac OS X box on a rack seems like a waste of beauty and money. Money especially. But having a *nix base in Mac OS X should make incorporating OS X into an enterprise environment easier. Or possible, really. -Rob
