Um...is your DL supposed to be DE, Bob?

I'm having intermittent problems...things will be loading normally then all of a sudden it'll slow to a crawl...then speed back up again.

That's not just related to here or google, though, it's across the board. Even a hotline chat I was doing last night had that problem.

Seems to be a bit better now, but not 100% yet.

Captain Code will become famous soon enough
I've been having that problem as well, but not just this site, and I'm from Ontario. I have had it at work as well, so it's not my ISP. I think it has to do with the latest windoze worms/viri running rampant.

This worm seems to be causing a lot of extra traffic on the net.

I have problems loading some sites that are technically hosted at east coast, but some are because of some banners they don't work anymore. The local pages ... mainly work fine, everything seems sometimes very slow, and e.g. bbc took minutes to load.

Yes, DL is Delaware. The main problem I'm having is loading macosx.com, most any other sites loads fine. Google is back now, loading fine, but still having a problem with macosx. It loads much better on my PC, but still extremely slow. Doesn't really load completely on my Macs, page opens, color and header show up and that's it, if I hit the stop loading button, then the page loads so I can see all the forums. Have G4 and PC connected toa router, along with an airport base connected to a router for the G4 PB. All have the same problem. Gotta get a crossover cable and try connecting the modem (cable) directly to a machine.

Talked to Comcast and they told me they're having routing issues and they're working on fixing the problem.

That would probably explain my slowdown as well.

At least my modem isn't disconnecting every 4 hours right now
