I would really like to see an "Unsubscribe from this thread" button at the bottom of posts, like there is on this site (random example post):

Yeah, but that means that I have to still have the email in my inbox, and if I read the post and find I don't want to continue being subscribed I have to go back to the email and paste the link in my browser.

I understand it can be inconvenient to have to keep the email, but this is how it usually works for me.

1 - I'm subscribed to a thread.
2 - That thread goes a direction I grow tired of.
3 - It stays fairly popular so I keep getting emails even though I believe you are only supposed to get one email until you revisit the thread
4 - Next time I get an email for that thread I click the link

Not to bad.

Yeah that's what I used to do.
I guess I just notice it more now that I have Thunderbird and KDE as my primary environment and I can't get Thunderbird to open a browser when a link is clicked so I have to copy-paste them all into firefox.

Just something to consider. I like the way this forum has developed otherwise, looks great, a far cry from where it was when I joined those years back (under a different username)
