Question VPC / IE question

Hi, i'm trying to open a work-related website that's (unfortunately) only viewable with IE 5 or higher. Now I can do this easily with my old windows notebook, but i'm planning to sell it.. so i need to do it with my mac

I used my VPC to open Windows and it's soooooo slow.. i just can't get any work done...

I currently have a 512 MB RAM on a Mac OS X Tiger (10.4.4) and am wondering if I upgrade the RAM, will it speed up my VPC?

also, a friend told me that there WAS an IE 5 version for mac. However, I checked microsoft.com and it's been discontinued.

Anyone has any other solution for this?

thanks

Hmm... It's likely that one of us still has a version of IE for Mac OS X still lying around, and could just send it to you. Hopefully it will work with the site.

In fact. I DO have it. Version 5.2.3...

Feel free to IM me for it as "AdamByte" on AIM, and I'll send it to you.

P.S. Yes, extra RAM will help immensely... but it will still be slow enough to be very annoying.

Well.... I think you can live anywhere and get an aim account for free at www.aim.com

But, that's beside the point... sure, I'll e-mail it to you...
