Scanner for iMac

I am new to iMac. I have an Epson scanner, Perfection 2400. which I have used for over 4 years with a PC. Does anyone know whether I can get a new driver for this so I can use it with the iMac ?

Alternatively what current scanners are good with iMac ?

Best wishes

I have a Canon MP600, not the lowest cost when you buy it, but that's a very compact solution and the ink tanks are large models.

It will work with VueScan, which I have and would strongly recommend.

You can download Mac drivers from Epson's site:

Also download "EPSON Scan" software, which is excellent.

Thanks to Chevy, Eric2006 and Satcure. I shall try the Epson site and have a good look at Vuescan.

Best wishes

Epson DO supply a driver for Mac/Perfection 2400. However, having tried that and also Vuescan I have opted for the latter. It is notably better.

Best wishes
