| Can someone please test my Flash projector animation on a MAC
Hello all, New to this forum ![]() I work on a PC, I would appreciate it very much if someone can test my Flash projector animation on a MAC, and tell me if everyhing is working fine by answering a couple of questions. 1- What to burn on a CDRom, is it the animation.app folder as is ? or the content of animation.app ? 2- As I understand, autorun on a MAC is not possible, is this 100% true ? if yes, how can I tell someone to start the animation manually ? and where exaclty must they go to do so ? on a PC, we usually do this by going to: desktop / CDRom icon / double-clic on animation.exe So start my animation, I have 3 short songs as an example, clic on each: 3- Do you hear each one ? 4- Does the title show up in the title box, when a song is clicked ? 5- Are all buttons : PLAY / PAUSE / STOP working correctly ? 6- There a "site" button, when clicked, a full screen popup will pop, with a green background and the word "test" in it. Is this working correctly ? I would really appreciate you guys getting back to me...with good news ![]() here's my file: http://www.serva-tech.com/sandra.app.zip cheers Sandra |

One small note: I've placed the contents (songs) in a folder called "data" in the same place as the movie.exe...this is what works on a PC... juste in case, can you place the data folder elsewhere to see if you hear the songs... cheers Sandra |

You have a few issues; 1) No music plays 2) "site" link tries to take me to : file:///Macintosh%20HD/Users/{myusername}/Desktop/data/1.html 3) the time marker of 0:00 gets chopped off on the last zero. 4) Song Title does not appear in the box in the middle, but the "Song 3 is Playing" changes as you click each song. As for autoplay on a mac: here is a nice guide: http://www.autorun-autoplay-tools.co...tart-facts.htm Your mp3 files are packaged up inside the .app within content>resources>data> there I find the .html file and the mp3 Google is your friend... lots of resources out there that talk about how to make Mac friendly flash apps for cds. Good luck. |

ok.. let me try this AGAIN!!! (All from memory now) 1) The "link" does not work.. tries to open up the path to my documents folder. 2) The music does NOT play. 3) The "now playing song x" shows but the title above is blank. is there supose to be something in that middle box? 4) time meter cuts off the last zero in the 0:00 As for Mac autostart CDs > http://www.autorun-autoplay-tools.co...tart-facts.htm As for your Resources... the mp3s and the html file are in there.. just not references correctly in your action script. There are lots of resources out there to help build a mac friendly flash player. |

MAC = Media Access Control. Mac is short for Macintosh.
