wma songs

i just got my mac book and i dont noe how to concert wma songs into itunes so that i can play it in my ipod. For my windows xp it would convert once i just drag it in. i dont noe y this wouldnt let me...

If you want to play .wma on your Mac, then you need Flip4Mac.

iTunes will only convert WMV to AAC/MP3 on the Windows version of iTunes. This functionality doesn't exist on the Mac version.

I would suggest using your Windows XP machine to do the conversion, then copy the resulting AAC/MP3 files to your Mac.
