    Single User Question

    Kinda curious as to why i'm no long "localhost#" when i single-user start up... now it's sh-2.05a# for some reason...

    any ideas?

    I wouldn't worry about it. It looks like Apple made some changes to /etc/rc.boot which has a hand in setting up single user mode. Somewhere along the line, the prompt just isn't being set anymore, and it defaults to displaying version info. If you want to change it, just alter the shell variable PS1.
