well, having had prevoius experience with a couple of flavors of
unix, thought NO PROBLEM. logged in as admin and opened
preferences and went to change the users pass. no dice. never
logged in as mysql and there is no keychain for the prefs to mod.
SO no biggie. i'll terminal and su - then su mysql. typed passwd
and get permission denied. assuming this is the keychain again.
