Is the Darwine Project Dead?

I checked on their website and the latest release was in 2004. Is it safe to assume this is dead and i'll have to go with something like crossover?

The OSx86Project has been using the last Darwine release a fair bit, and they've got some talent, so expect the kinks to start getting ironed out significantly in the coming months.

In the mean time, check out the Wiki on http://www.osx86project.org

They do have an enormous task on their hands. Not only must they port wine from Linux to Darwin, they must emulate the entire Intel x86 instruction set to run on PPC. No small feat.
