jmshack is on a distinguished road
background image with aterm (pixmap)

I'm trying to get aterm to display a background image. I've got transparency working, but what I rather want to do is set:

aterm*backgroundPixmap: /Users/joe/myimage.jpg
aterm*backgroundType: tile

and have the background image set to "myimage.jpg". I've compiled aterm from source with -BACKGROUND_IMAGE defined, but it appears that has had no effect.

Has ANYONE got this working? And if so, what's the secret? Note that it failes both when passing -pixmap on the command line (though there's no error--it just ignores it) as well as setting the .Xdefaults tags.

Thankd for any help.
