Unix http log

A while back, I somehow ran across one of the (I think) Unix log files that stored all URLs accessed by browsers. Safari crashed on me, requiring a force quit, with some pages I had left open for days. So of course, they're gone from the History (even though I snagged a copy of History List.plist before restarting Safari). If that log exists, I should be able to remember which pages I had up at the time.

Does anybody know what log it would be? Does it require having set some option before hand? I looked thru a bunch of the logs in /private/var/log, but couldn't see anything relevant.
