    fink and cvs

I cannot run cvs from fink. anybody does have an idea on how to solve that ?

Here is what FinkCommander tells me:

I will now run the cvs command to retrieve the latest package descriptions.
After that, the core packages will be updated right away; you should then
update the other packages using commands like 'fink update-all'.

    cvs -z3 update -d -P
Can't exec "cvs": No such file or directory at /sw/lib/perl5/Fink/Services.pm line 188, <SW_VERS> line 2.
    ### execution of cvs failed, exit code -1
Failed: Updating using CVS failed. Check the error messages above.

I know that selfupdate has been causing some problems. You might want to keep trying to run fink selfupdate in the terminal (or x11) fink has another option of upgrading called rsync. If you manage to get a new version of Fink then run fink selfupdate and it will ask you if you want to run rsync. Just select rsync and wala problem solved.
