| Printing from RedHat 9 to 10.3.2, why doesn't it work? Current configuration: 10.3.2 is on 192.168.0.5 (also called nimbus.local) RedHat 9 is on 192.168.0.7 (also called trogdor.local) Epson Stylus Colour 777(i) attached via USB to Panther iMac, and turned on ![]() All networked via a D-Link DI-604 router with static DHCP addressing. I have enabled: Mac OS X Printer Sharing (in the Sharing pane) Added a CUPS printer on my RH9 machine to 192.168.0.5 as an Epson Stylus Color 777. I assume the "path" field refers to a local spool path (and not a remote unix socket on my iMac). Checked that ipp (port 631) is open on my Mac (and that cupsd is running). When I try to print a test page from my RH9 machine, I get a server not responding message. Interestingly in netinfo manager, there are no entries in either the "/services" or "/printers" nodes. How can I, and why can't I currently print over my network?
