X11 Compile help

I am trying to compile dcgui from the CVS and am getting and error.

checking for X... configure: error: Can't find X includes. Please check your installation and add the correct paths!

What do I need to do?

I am a complete newb when it comes to this, to please excuse my idiocy. Thanks!

DMCrimson is on a distinguished road
try and install the X11 SDK if you already haven't done so. This only if you're in panther and using Apple's X11, though...
