Mount point

Hi everyone, I heard you can set a different mount point in Unix. How can I make my external firewire drive to mount in /Users/<myusername>/ instead of /Volumes/?

I seem to remember that this is done by: mnt <name_drive> /Users/<myusername>/
Probably it is best to have a look in the MAN pages of Darwin.
