| Making 'ls' display colors Hi, How do I make 'ls' display colors. There is no --color option in Darwin like there is in linux. BTW I am using Mac OS X 10.2.8 with Darwin Kernel version 6.8. Thanks, Div |

| if u check "man ls" u find it. "ls -G" gives you a coloured output.

| Unless you run 10.3, you supposedly have to download a custom version of LS for colored output. http://www.macosxhints.com/article.p...31027145026892 (Older Hint - has link for new LS) http://www.macosxhints.com/article.p...00112201143624

The older link (mentioned in your message) asks me to download a version of ls written by someone, but that person't website does not seem to have it anymore. Div |
