The keychain password is usually the same as your login password. I keep my keychain unlocked and it hardly ever bothers me. Use keychain access to change settings for this.

I think that you need to be connected to the internet for help to work as this is where it pulls it's info from. It may be very slow on a dialup connection resulting in a beachball.....etc

Sorry if you've already checked this but maybe the files have locked somehow, can you check or uncheck the locked box in the get info window?

Have a go at calibrating from the system preferences, you should be able to tweak it just how you like. Click on displays then colour and there is a calibrate button.

I would not recommend Norton for anything except virus protection. It is an unsupported product and can hose your system, there are many threads about this. It is not neccersary to defrag OSX as it does it on the fly. However if you do wish to defrag a drive I would recommend Drive 10.

I am looking to get Airport Express so I can stream my itunes to my Hi-Fi downstairs. Will an Airport Extreme card work on my iMacG4 800 or would I need an older Airport card? Hopefully it will because it doesn't appear Apple sells the older Airport cards anymore. Thanks for any help in advance.

Have you checked your account settings to see if the "Automatically log in as" check box has unchecked itself. Or do you mean that by selecting shutdown or restart it just logs out and doesn't shutdown or restart?

Files do get corrupted over email sometimes. Just get him to zip the files, they will definetly get to you ok then.
