I never stumped VLC yet. Plays anything you throw at it. I find controls are better than most players and quicktime. IMO.

ffMpegx works too. Not sure about FLV's. Easy and to the point. I covert all my avi's to mp4 with this. Also has a queue so you can set a bunch up to convert and walk away.

I am using gmail through the imap client. I just did a small test I sent an email to my me account and sat in front my mac. as soon as I touch it on my phone the blue dot in mail disappears. If I do the same with my gmail the blue dot stays. There has to be one little setting I am missing.

I may totally wrong but don't you need Quicktime Pro to enable full screen mode. I have Pro so I can't tell you any different for what is installed with Leopard alone.

Never played with one but on the iPhone in iTunes on the settings tab in the device under photos you click what photo albums you want sync'd. Not sure if it is the same scenario on an ipod nano

I just bought the widow an iPod Shuffle and I have the Disk Mode disabled bur it still mounts as usable drive and also prevents me from booting up when plugged in. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

May be a stupid response but make sure you don't have and iPod Shuffle plugged in. It will treat it as a disk to boot from and cycle over and over. If anyone has a fix for this make a thread.
