I open mail and it just hangs. I have to force quit and restart and THEN it loads! This is a new problem in 10.5.2. (I have NO plugins installed) Any ideas???

Does anyone know if there's a way to add "open new finder window ( command N)" to the desktop finder window? What I want to do is....be able to click on the desktop and select "open new finder window." (Where now I can select new folder, for instance.) Or program it into my kensington...

I was all set to buy a panasonic digital stereo receiver. It has 2 optical audio inputs (really intended for DVD, I think. I assumed I could run optical cable from my G5's "optical audio out." Then my computer's sound would come through the Cambridge Soundworks speakes from the receiver...
