I have a Mac OS X 10.1.5 and I ran Norton Utilities on it and it told me I have no B tree....How do I get that and do I really need it?

I am trying to find pictures that were in Iphoto that I sent to the trash and then emptied. I found that in Norton Utilities you retrieve that. What is it listed as and how do I filter it down to find them if possible?

thanks

Hi Pete

The worst thing you can do on an OS X system is to run Nortons on it. It can damage the system. Symantec dropped support for Nortons on Macs.

Boot off your OS X disk, after the Installer Window appears, go up to the Installer Menu to Disk Utility and use that to reapir the disk.

As for files that you've trashed, in OS X system, they're completely gone.
