I am trying to clean up my files and know I have a lot of duplicates. What is the best way to find and remove them quickly? I have read a little about zsDuplicateHunter. Any opinions on that software or other recommendations?
Thanks very much.

Hi Cathy
zsDuplicateHunter is a good program.
Another one is SpringCleaning;

Thanks, Bob, both for your quick response and for your suggestions. I downloaded DuplicateHunter and just freed up a bunch of hard drive space. I'm confused, though, between iPhoto and the Pictures folder. A lot of the duplication I had was between the Pictures folder and iPhoto Library. I thought iPhoto was just shortcuts but I guess it's not. Can you help me understand the difference, and if iPhoto actually stores the pix, what would one use the Pictures folder for?
Thanks again for your great tech support.

Cathy
iPhoto keeps all it's pictures in the iPhoto folder inside the Pictures folder.
You can also store other pictures in the Pictures folder, anything you like.
