Is it possible to use the iBook G4 OS X install disks on a iBook G3 running OS X 10.1? I would like to wipe out the G3 and have a clean install of the 10.3.5 OS X. Is that possible?

Hi Marc
Unlikely this will work. Apple ships machine specific disks, for the machine it shipped with.
You can give it a try and see what happens, but make sure you backup anything important first.

how can i find out the processor speed of this iBook?

Under the Apple > About this Mac - will show the processor, and also the System Profiler in the Utility folder will give you all the machine information.
