I signed up with my local high speed Internet cable provider. I am trying to network an iBook with OS 9.1, Power PC G3 and a Dell Pentium IV. The cable is hard wired to the PC.
What do I have to do to complete the network to the iBook?
Thank you

When you say cable is hard wired to the PC, do you mean that an ethernet cable goes from modem to router and then another from router to PC?
Is the router set up to do the login for you with the cable provider? That is the way a normal network would be setup, and then the 3 computers would be setup to configure by DHCP, that is, the router would issue an IP address to all 3.

Thank you for the reply. When I try to set up the i Book, I do not know what entries to plug in.

In the TCP/IP Control Panel, set Configure Using DHCP Server.
