When signing on with aol30 there is no problem.

When signing on with aol40 microsoft manager icons
are blanked from the monitor. What can I do to
prevent this from happening?

Hello Paul, and welcome to NoWonder!!

In the course of an evening, I have seen a ton of questions reguarding AOL 4.0. It appears to me there is a bug in the program. For starters, Id un-install it, then re-install it. This might work. Have you tried re-booting the system? This sometimes will cure a program thats not acting right. If the problem presists, then contact AOL, and see if they have issued a patch for this 4.0 program.
