Description:
When I send e-mail on my Navigator 4.5 many people get weird characters instead of my apostrophies. I also can’t get any aprostrophies to work on Adobe Pagemill.

Hello Charlie,

Are you utilizing mainstream fonts as your default in your browser? Also,
may I ask if the people to whom you refer are living in the U.S. or outside of the country? That could be one difference since foreign nations may not be able to interpret a U.S/English keyboard the way you and I see it. That uis true whe nI send messages to and receive messages from Japan, as an example, even though they are not in Kanji.

I have been a user of PageMill since the very first version and, currently, have 60+ pages on the Internet using v3.0, some of which use apostrophe's.

There is always the possibility that a font file could be corrupted. Not too likely, however.

Have you tried sending yourself an e-mail message to see if it occurs when you do?

Unlike a telephone, you can send an e-mail to yourself, since it goes to your ISPs server, then is re-sent back to you. Try it!
