Hi! I have a Power Mac G4 Quicksilver, 733 mhz, and it used to have a CD-RW drive, but I needed to upgrade to a DVD-RW drive so I installed a Pioneer drive. I have recently tried to put a DVD in and play it, but I don't seem to have Apple DVD Player. I originally installed Mac OS X 10.3 Panther on my Mac, but that was before I installed the drive, so I don't know if that has anything to do with it. I do currently have Apple DVD player 2.7, but when I try to open it [with Classic], it says it is not supported by Classic. I was wondering if there was some way to download a newer version of Apple DVD of something. Thanks!

Hi Beau

DVD player wasn't instaled because you didn't have a DVD drive.

You can use a program called Pacifist to get the DVD Player off the Panther Disks;
