Description:
Help, I am moving overseas to Italy soon. Is there anything I need to do or know about with my Apple. My comcern is how it will run on differnt power 220/50 vice 110/60. Same goes concerning my printer. Also, do I need to take this into account before I buy a scanner?
Anything you can tell me would help me very much and reduce much of my moving fears (plus I'll send you a nice post card).

Chris,

Have a look at the back of your equipment. Voltage requirement should be printed right beside the connector. Almost all Macs produced in later years have a universal power supply, no problem. There's an exception for one of the G3s I think, but that shouldn't affect you. You didn't say what printer. My HP has an external power supply/converter. So far, I haven't heard about anybody having any kinds of problems making their Macs operate over here. Now you know what to check before buying the scanner.

Then you can send _me_ the card ;-) Where in Italy?
