KNOWLEDGE LEVEL: Intermediate

PROBLEM: Software
COMPUTER TYPE: n/a
MODEL: n/a
RAM: Not related
OS VERSION: NT 4
SERVICE PACK: 3 & 4

DESCRIPTION:

I have a lot of different software applications to add/update on about
150 clients.

The software is the following:
* NT service pack 4 (up from 3)
* Netscape 4.5 (up from 4.0)
* Norton Antivirus 5 (up from 4)
* Novell client 4.5 (up from 4.1)

I am trying to automate this process but the only applications I am aware of are network related (like Zen) and I'd like to simply create a batch file (or the like) that would perform the installations automatically so I won't need to babysit each workstation's upgrading. Is there a utility that will make a snapshop of the before and after conditions of a client and replicate the changes on another workstation?

Jon,

Try this. We used it when I worked at AOL to configure all the tech support machines... overnight.
