Description:
when trying to exit Nanosaur,used apple and q keys. the screen went white, the power light was still on. We could not communicate from keyboard to reset. we tried all the
emergency procedures.none worked. my husband then unplugged it and when we had the main menu again but some files were rescued from hd. i moved them back to hard drive.what happened? Also what can we do next time. it froze up again later but we has the menu screen. also when finishing nanosaur after this the top of the screen was exposing the main menu. HELP!!! now i've just been booted out of remote access. I hope this gets to someone who can help us.

My name is Cheryl and I will be helping you. First you don't state what type of computer you have or what version operating system you are using. That is important. Different OS versions have a couple of different methods of trouble shooting. And so do different models.
I do have a couple of suggestions though. First, go into your system folder>preference folder and find the Nanosaur pref and drag them to the trash. Empty the trash. Now, go to the Nanosaur folder, and click once on the Nanosaur icon. Go to the file menu and select get info. At the bottom of that screen is preferred memory and you can change that manually. I suggest raising that with 500k more than what is already listed. Now close the windows and test out the program.
