Hi, I recently bought a Powerbook 1.67 Ghz 15.2 screen and have tried burning a DVD -R. But everytime I insert the blank DVD it ejects moments later. Is there an explanation for this?
Thanks in advance.
Beam.

Try zappint the Pram;
Restart your machine with the Option, Command, P, and R keys held down. Once you've heard the second startup chime, release the keys.
Then try a disk. If the problem remains, reset Open Firmware;
Reboot your computer while holding down Command-Option-O-F. At the prompt, type
reset-nvram and hit the Return key, then type
reset-all and hit the Return key again. Your computer will reboot.
Then try a disk.
If the problem remains, try a different brand disk, if the problem is still there, call Apple for warranty service.
