Description:
When trying to connect to my ISP, who has digital lines, from a hotel that has a digital swicthboard, after connecting, I am unable to use any software (ie. Netscape won't connect to websites, Eudora won't check for mail). My ISP says that I will be unable to as long as my line is digital. Is this true? If so, is there any software that can make it appear that I am calling in from an analog switch board?

Nicholas,
My name is Cheryl anbd I will be helping you. Your modem was designed to send digital messages through an analog phone line. I do not know of any software that can do what you want. What you should be looking for is a modem that can accommodate digital phone line. You can try checking with MacWarehouse or MacConnection to see if there is one available for you computer.
MacWarehouse 1-800-255-6227 or http://www.warehouse.com
MacConnection 1-800-800-2222 or http://www.macconnection.com
I hope this helps you.
Cheryl
