RAM: 16meg
RAM Enhancer: None
OS Version: System 7.6.1

Description:
I have three older computers at my school that simply will not shutdown - all have 7.5-7.6.1. Teachrs have to turn off the power to get them off. I'm perplexed. I've thrown away finder pref. zapped prams etc but problem returns.

hi

two things that I know of that can cause that are :-

old hp background printing software, or
nortons 2.0 control panels

check for both of those, and if its not them, then can you give me a list of your control panels and extensions and I'll see if anything stands out
