TICKET ARCHIVE -> CD problems

Description:
Dear MHJ

Can you tell me how I can use these CD's that you send me with the magazine? I get the same error message on the last two that I have received (Sept. and October).. I can get the Welcome portion of the CD to open (98.10), but the contents will not. This is the error message that I keep getting..

"There was an error opening this document. A file read error has occured"

I am not able to use Septembers CD or Octobers'. What gives??

Hi Robert and welcome to No Wonder!

We are not affiliated with MacHome.

Is only these 2 CDs that you are having problems with...can you run every other CD that you have?

The CDs have been known in the past to not be made to the highest standards.

It is either the CDs that are damaged (return them to MacHome) or your CD-ROM lens may be dirty - in this case use a CD-ROM lens cleaner.
