DESCRIPTION:

I am not able to play Enhanced CD's on my computer. I have the required software (Quicktime) and enough room. However as soon as I load the CD, the D drive opens up as an audio CD, and shows only the 13 tracks which are on the CD. (I searched the dir on doss, and the rest of the files are there).

Hi Amy,
Welcome to No Wonder! I hope I can help. The "autorun" is enabled on your CD-Rom. Whenever you insert a CD it will automatically start. It's finding the tracks first. You can disable the autorun but you will have to go to the disk and start it manually by clicking on the file you need. To disable the autorun go to Control Panel, then System, then Device Manager. Double click on "CD-ROM" and it should show your CD-ROM listed. Highlight the CD-ROM listed and go to the "Properties" box near the bottom and click. When the Properties box opens up, click the "settings" tab. There will be a check mark in "autoinsert notification". Remove that check mark and back out. Another way is to hold down the "Shift" key when you insert the CD and it will not start automatically. Hope this helps.....
