Description:
Chooser looses the printer after each printjob. I sometimes have to rechoose several times before I can print each printjob. It is driving me nuts!!!
I am using an Apple LaserWriter II NT. It has Postcript Level 1, Version 47.0, Revision 1 and 2MB.
The Chooser is version 7.3

Hello Stu and Welcome to No Wonder!
Try holding down Cmd-Opt keys while opening Chooser to clear it's cache. Then select the Printer port and restart your Mac.
Another thing to try is to go into your AppleTalk control panel, and turn AppleTalk off from there, instead of the Chooser.
