RAM: 48meg
RAM Enhancer: None
OS Version: System 7.6.1

Description:
I have 7.6.1 installed now. If when OS 8.5 is released, do I have to instal OS 8 then 8.1 and so on before 8.5 can be installed? If so that would be an awfull expense. Thanks in advance for your help.

Nope.

Like 7.5, 7.6 & 8.0...8.5 is a full commercial upgrade which does not require previous versions of the OS to be installed first.
