Knowledge Level: Beginner
Problem: Software
Computer Type: apple
Model: G3
RAM: Not related
RAM Enhancer: None
OS Version: MacOS 8.1

Description:
I have Powerpoint 98 for Mac and I need to be able to save/export to version7 and 97 for PC. Is this atall possible?
At the moment my colleague [who uses powerpoint 7 for PC] can only open things I have saved out as version 4.

Since most of the world uses PC powerpoint version 7 and 97 [or so it would seem] Being unable to save out in these formats renders my version 95% useless

Hope you can help...Microsoft's site not atall helpful.

Hi Jean, Welcome to NoWonder!

I'm Laura, and I hope I can help you with your problem.
You need at least one of the powerpoint converters,
available for download at this URL:
http://spectra.eng.hawaii.edu/~msmit...s/PPconvrt.htm
You may need to have one converter, and the PC users may need to
download a different one to put on their computer.
I hope you can figure out from that webpage which one you'll
need, it seems like they are very "situation specific" so I'll
let you pick which you (and your associates) need.
If you need any more help on this, you can email me here.
Hope this helps!

Laura
