hi-

I just lost EVERYTHING on my powerbook, and I'm trying to avoid that happening again when I get my computer back again.

is it true that running itunes will interfere with the operation of the hard drive? that's one of the things we're trying to figure out while troubleshooting this at work.

if so, does it matter if you're streaming radio or someone else's playlists, compared to playing your own mp3s?

I'd ask you how to recover the data that the computer has lost, but we've already kind of determined that's gone forever ;-(
