KNOWLEDGE LEVEL: Intermediate

PROBLEM: Software
COMPUTER TYPE: SuperCom
MODEL: Pentium
RAM: Not related
OS VERSION: Windows 95
SERVICE PACK:

DESCRIPTION:

I have Norton Utilities installed. When I choose to empty the recycle bin the timer shows but, does not stop in a few seconds as normal. To stop it I have to reboot and when Windows is done loading the trash is empty and the timer is stopped.
Maybe the delete file is corrupt. Any ideas on which files might be involved ? Maybe I can reinstall them?

Hi Charles...Welcome to No Wonder.

After making your question available to our entire staff, I'm sorry to say that we are unable to find a solution to your problem.

Unfortunately, this happens from time to time due to the technical nature of the question or the fact that our volunteers do not have the experience with it.

The only thing I can suggest is to re-install Norton Utilities...perhaps it is as you said, a file has gone corrupt.

Hopefully we can be of service to you in the future,
Pete
